The Tuscany Region has increased the funds to promote agri-food excellence, raising the total allocation to seven and a half million euros.
This initiative, launched in December 2023, allows sector operators to obtain a 70% non-repayable grant for information and promotion initiatives of European, national, and regional quality schemes, with particular attention to sustainability and improving the farmers' position in the value chain.
For producers, new opportunities arise to communicate with consumers, highlighting the quality and uniqueness of the products, their nutritional properties, and their unique connection to the territory. Additionally, targeted initiatives aimed at sector operators can support the marketing of products in the restaurant circuit and promote the knowledge of production standards and regulations.
The increase in the financial allocation of the call aims to further encourage all initiatives that promote a new concept of "quality" in the Tuscan agri-food sector, enabling the development of communication and marketing projects that deepen the knowledge of the supply chain and its various aspects.
